These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the StepAway mobile application ("App") developed and operated by StepAway ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use StepAway. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
StepAway processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
StepAway uses Apple's Screen Time API to access your device usage data. This data is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices. We do not have access to this data outside of your device.
All content, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the App are owned by StepAway or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StepAway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
